Editing session two
After coming up in a free period and jumping on the computer I loaded up the project file and there it was. I was so excited to make changes without any distractions. I discussed previously with the group what they where looking for in the performer cut and I had a clear image in my head of what to achieve. I began by refining the original 20 seconds of the song to match more to the beat of the music. After about half an hour of zooming into the timeline and precisely matching the beat to different shots I played it back and it seemed far stronger. I showed it to the individual who recommended doing this and he said it looked great and had a stronger and more interesting feel. So I started editing in the same style as before in time with the beat and the programme slow became far more fluid and easier to use.

ReplyDeleteA real leader with the editing, but you need to keep a stronger record of decisions made and why. Using screen grabs, video footage, etc do keep a visual record to accompany any key decisions that you make. Try to blog a post everyday about the progress that you have made.
