Pre-Production Plans
We have decided that we don't want to show the faces of the characters as this will reveal too much for just the title sequence so most of the shots will reveal only the girls face but not the couples at it adds a sense of mystery and an unknown person which may suggest that the girl is unaware of who he even is and how much of a threat he may be to her.
We
agreed on having lack of dialogue in this title sequence and throughout
the sequence have the sound of a hear monitor slowly getting slower and
slower until the end where there is a close up on it and it flat-lines.
Then it spells out the name of the film

have always thought the sound of the heart monitor is quite an eerie
sound as its the sound of someones life and if it stops it is gone
forever that why i think it would suit the piece. I would also like
other close ups of equipment in the extract just to show how lethal the
condition the girl is in. Also how this is the only thing that's keeping
her alive and how dangerous that man must be.
The only problems i have realized with setting it in a hospital is the fact that we would have to get access to all of the equipment and props but i think this may be hard to do as hospitals are busy. It would still be nice to try to get into a hospital and give it a go because if we did it would achieve such a great effect as hospital is quite a scary place too be in as it means someone is in a bad condition and we usually associate it with negativity. I have a feeling it will add to the suspense of the thriller if it was filmed here.
